1. 自由职业者管理将成为核心技能：随着拥有专业技能的人才缺口扩大，杰出的管理者需要能够娴熟的管理自由职业者以及分散在不同地区的团队成员；
2. 中文翻译为英文的需求将首次超过英文翻译为中文的需求，这是受到中国市场迅速扩张的影响。这一市场的发展催生了大量的职位需求，中文翻译为英文的翻译人员其数量在2014年下半年增长了50%，而且位于十大亟需的语言翻译之中；
3. 虚拟助理数量将迅速增长。据报告显示，在Elance-oDesk平台上注册的虚拟助理人数达到150万，该数字预计2015年会继续增长50%。

Online work is allowing millions of businesses and independent professionals in Singapore and across the world to find each other and work together via the internet, according to the 2014 Global Online Work Report from online workplace Elance-oDesk.
Elance-oDesk’s Work Predictions for 2015:
1.Freelance management will become a core skill: As the talent gap for technical skills increases, standout professionals will be those who are adept at managing freelancers and distributed team members.
2. Chinese-to-English translation will outpace English-to-Chinese for the first time in history: Chinese businesses are looking to the West for growth. Translators who serve this market are in high demand, growing more than 50% in the second half of 2014 and making it to the top 10 list of language translation requests.
3.Everyone will live large with their own virtual assistant: There are currently 1.5 million virtual assistants registered across Elance.com and oDesk.com (Elance-oDesk), and that number is expected to increase by 50% in 2015.
4.Virtual offices will surpass the number of traditional agencies: The soaring cost of maintaining a physical office is causing agencies to move online. Improvements in project management, communication tools, and a flexible work environment will enable virtual offices to flourish.
